My wife and I have been using the bedroom furniture I've had since college and we're ready to make a big step up. We're very interested in pieces by Councill and Henkel Harris. I've read reviews of Councill pieces on this forum, but there hasn't been much said about Henkel Harris.
We're considering this bed by Councill:

And these pieces by Henkel Harris:

http://www.henkelharris.com/productD...ID=31&pageno=3 dresser
http://www.henkelharris.com/productD...ID=32&roomID=2 chest
http://www.henkelharris.com/productD...yID=6&roomID=2 armoire
We haven't seen the Councill bed aside from pictures, but we really like what the pictures have shown, and we love the HH chest. I would say the armoire is our least favorite piece and we will put it off until last, if we buy it at all. How do you think the HH pieces pair with the Councill bed?
I look forward to hearing any opinions you have about the companies or the specific items I've linked to above. Thanks.

My understanding is both Councill and HH are excellent quality, for mass manufactured pieces. But, personally, I don't think the styles go well together at all. The bed looks more French Country to me, while the HH pieces look, I don't know, more American classical?
Have you checked out Leonard's? They make absolutely gorgeous reproduction furniture, and I'm guessing it's better quality--although could be a bit more expensive. I'm thinking that I like this chest better with your bed than the HH chest, although it's an antique and not new (Leonard's also sells antiques):
