I used to be a Flexsteel Dealer, but no more. In fact, I have a Latitudes recliner on closeout in my store - hope it finds a new home soon!
It's budget furniture that is just OK, and I would not expect much lifespan out of the piece. Frame is made of plywood, and they actually use school poster-board covered with a piece of cheap foam for the motion backs (leather - layer of thin foam - then the poster board). Mechanism looks to be about half the heft of a USA-made Leggit and Platt
The leather itself is not bad, and is sewn decent enough. It really depends on the price. You can buy a properly made H&M recliner sofa for around $ 3,500, I'd not want to pay more than $ 2,000 for the Flexsteel.
All L attitudes are 100 % made in China. FYI
