If you are on Hancock and Moore's mailing list, you will get an invite in November or December to enter their contest for their furniture giveaway. This past year it was a H&M Aviator Chair and Ottoman in a burnished leather. I have no idea how many entries they get each year, but my wife always enters and has for years. I don't enter it because I think I'm too close to it being a top dealer and all.
Well, it looks like my wife won the contest! She was notified yesterday so there you go! Apparently she was not the first pick on the raffle, but the third, hence the delay all the way into March on notification. The first two winners never responded to email notifications they had won (not sure if they tried calling or if phone numbers are entered on the contest sweepstakes) so on the third ticket pull her name was drawn.

Remember, you can't win if you don't enter! And don't use a junk email that you never check for the contest......

Wow, what are the chances! Cool for you all, now you just have to figure out if you keep it and where to put it.
A couple of years ago I won at $500 gift card to a local restaurant chain. I didn't even remember entering but they emailed me that I won. Had a lot of good BBQ off that contest!
Well congratulations to your wife! That’s awesome!
I have always liked the Aviator Chair, so we will definitely find a place for it in our home. It was designed by my pal Alan Price who is now at Whitmore-Sherrill, so its a good reminder of our friendship as well.

What a prize to win!!!
What leather are you gonna go with?
It's a beautiful chair...and a beautiful way to honor that relationship.
They already have it made up, so I don't even know what leather it is in. Typically these contest pieces come out of the Market Showroom, so it's likely a high grade hide. Probably a Burnished leather I am guessing. No matter what color it is, I can find a spot for it somewhere!
