Thread: Kodiak Sofa 6months Later- Tiburon Java

I though I would add a quick post. We received our Kodiak sofad in Tiburon Java about 6months ago. We absolutely love these sofas and ottomans. The leather feels like butter to the touch. We have two dogs, golden retriever and a beagle. They are allowed on the furniture. The leather has held up way pastour expectations. So far there has been wine splattered on the leather as well as one of the dogs vomitted on it. We caught both immediately and cleaned it by blotting it up with damp cloth, do not rub. The next day could not find any trace of these accidents happening. I will try and post some pics tomorrow. We live in northern California. Duane was awesome and would definitely order from him in the future.

I would say that 9 out of 10 customers are hesitant to buy pure aniline leathers because they are not "protected". As you see from use, there is little to worry about and you have the benefit of your H&M leathers developing a wonderful patina over time, and with use. They get better with age in a nice Italian pull-up, not worse. They are not fragile in the least, and won't lose topcoat like a finished leather will over time.
