Default Make your own touch up color

Any finished or semi-aniline leather has a pigmented topcoat on it. That would be water-based paint when you cut to the chase on it. If you get an abrasion, or a cut, or a rub mark, you can fix it yourself fairly easily.

If a cut or a gouge, fill it with plain old Elmer's Glue and let dry.

Since there hundreds of colors you can make your own up, like I sometimes do here in the store. Angelo Putty is a popular Hancock and Moore color and if a need some small touch-up, I go to the craft store and buy small bottles of the base colors, in this case a light beige and some black. Water based acrylic paint, I prefer the satin sheen. Then you mix the two until you get the correct shade, apply to the area in question and once its dry, blend it out with a little leather conditioner.

I save a little when I get the right color mix to keep in a small bottle as well.

An easy fix you can do for around $ 5.

Good to know. But I'd sure hate to get a cut or gouge on my Austin High Back Tilt Back chair....
