1 last "source." Oops, & I can't believe this entire time I was referencing the LC series as a Mies van der Rohe, when they're Le Courbursier pieces?! Omg LOL, I knew that, just didn't click till just now. My bad, sorry

You didn't cause any problems...no need to apologize(at least to me lol.) I had done an exhaustive search awhile back on true, quality built MCM replicas for myself: mainly the Eames lounge chair, Eames fiberglass side chair with dowel legs & the Le Courbursier LC4 hair on hide chaise. After seeing what looked like great pieces for amazing "steals" I started hearing the old refrain "if it's too good to be true..." in my head. That scared me off on pulling the trigger with any of those retailers & start looking at what went into the making of the originals.
I had read that write-up on EMFurn & when saw your review posted here(on a forum for high-end, American Made made traditional furniture,) I thought I'd share what I had read, not knowing if you'd also taken the huge amount of time to do similar research. Didn't mean to come off as harsh & I apologize if my replies read that way.

Thats funny you mention that because I even asked Emfurn support about the review site and apparently this site: http://www.eameschairreplica.com/unc...arison-emfurn/
has been set up by Rove Concepts to bash other competitors while glorifying their own products! Unbelievable right? The truth is every MCM replica company source their furniture from China. Granted some factories produce better products than others, it still doesn't make sense to set up an entire site just to bash other companies. I've contacted Emfurn plenty of times (prior to ordering my furniture in the pictures above) about the reviews I spotted online almost each time it was someone at Rove Concepts leaving negative reviews about other companies and good reviews about themselves. Isn't that illegal btw?
If you browse through emfurn's site, you'll notice that they have two versions of the chair - one base version which I'm assuming they source from lower end factories and a high end version which I'm assuming they source from another factory. In any case like I said I don't really have anything to do with them, I'm just a satisfied customer trying to get the word out.
I totally get where you're coming from. I personally haven't purchased anything yet from ANY of the above named companies. I was about to jump on some of the items, but got scared off after finding all that info. It left me even MORE confused & indecisive than I was prior. But, in a good way...ya know?
I took that Eames chair replica site with a HUGE grain of salt, because it read like 1 of those phony blog/forum/review does set up by a company trying to "educate" the consumer. However, they did NOT give Rove Concepts a glowing review. Rove's review was neutral, as were a few others.
Kardiel is another retailer specialising in replica MCM furniture, as well as their own original to them pieces. They seem to be about on par with Rove as far as prices & quality go based on my overview of their site. Again, I have not purchased anything from them either, or looked deep enough for comparisons & reviews.
If you're satisfied with your purchase & the quality of the product than that's all that matters. They could be the most ghastly or spot on looking replicas ever. But, if somebody's happy with them, & the price they paid then a job well done.
My reason for questioning your positive review was only because I had heard differently from several other ppl. Now granted, most of these ppl complaining were the types that buy budget furniture, yet expect it to be top notch quality & materials...there is NO free lunch! You get what you pay for & if you think a $1,000 "top grain leather" sofa will look & feel like the original at almost 1/8 the price then you're going to be upset. They can be upset all they want, fact is: they paid bottom dollar thinking they were getting top dollar & that doesn't exist.
