Thread: Hancock and Moore # 4878 Poet Chair in Buckingham Walnut Burnished

One of my long distance customers in New Jersey sent these to me of her new Poet Chairs, photos used with her permission. And they are EXCELLENT photos I might add, what a pleasure to see well taken shots with a good camera. I have always liked this chair, its very stylish and rakish, and I think it sits very well. Wood finish is Oiled Sandalwood, nail is the "R" though it was specified to be on the base only. Ultra down seat cores added. Nice Room! They look great.

I'm so thankful for these pictures of the Poet chair. I'll admit I had to look up the word "rakish" which you used in your description of it! And I agree that it is one great looking chair and I'm so happy that you think that it sits very well. I am looking for a swivel that a man would find comfortable to sit in.

I'm considering the Poet as swivel chair paired with the Salvatore sofa and Salvatore chair... do you think the styles complement each other? I read somewhere that one can/should mix styles/arm styles between pieces in a living room instead of trying to match arms among two different styles. Do you think these two styles will look good together?

I think they can work successfully together. That sofa is a slightly larger scale piece but they should not be out of visual balance used together.
