I found this beautiful teak mid century modern lounge chair (it was in awful condition, these photos are just after treatment with teak oil) but I have no idea who the designer or the manufacturer is. It has a very distinctive boomerang shape on the sides, and very unique hand carved armrests. The man who sold it to me suggested that it was a Finn Juhl, but it is atypical of his most popular styles. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated in my search for knowledge. Thank you.
No idea who the maker is, but I can appreciate the amount of time its taken you to get it to look like it does in the photo. Strong work!

It was very rewarding work. I have been searching pages and pages of online images, and I can't find anything like it. Next step is to hit the nearest university with a design library and troll through old catalogues and magazines I guess.
That piece definitely has a designer touch to it, I can't say whom, but I can recognize it when I see it. What I would recommend is to take more photos, and send them to the auction houses on this list. Pick a few and let them know you may be interested in running it through (you don't have to commit). They can ID and type that for you in minutes and save you months of work trying to figure it out. Here's a link of good houses that might generate some results:
